Transgender model signs contract with IMG

Transgender model, Hari Nef, has been signed as International Management Group (IMG) second transgender model but the first to be signed globally. Nef Hari, who  graduated from Columbia University last week has walked on the runways for Adam Selman, Hood by Air and Eckhaus Latta,

Transgender actress, model and writer,has  starred in a video campaign for Selfridges, made the 2015  alongside Kendall Jenner. She also appeared in Paperand was recently name-dropped in Vogue.

Nef, 22, walked her first womenswear shows last year and opened New York fashion week on the VFiles catwalk wearing a “girl power” hoodie.

Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid are models of IMG modelling agency which is bringing diversity into the fashion industry.

Nef has never modelled in menswear, “a lot prettier as a girl”, she said.
