Adomah is now on eight assists this season, a feat which puts him fourth on the table of assists in the Championship, only three behind leader and teammate Hourihane.

The London-born winger, who arrived at Villa Park for an undisclosed fee on summer transfer deadline day last year, has not played a game for the Black Stars since 2015.

Adomah, who has previously played for Harrow Borough, Barnet, Bristol City and Middlesbrough, has featured in 27 league games for 15th-placed Villa so far this season, scoring three goals.
