Thousands of Chilean football fans have signed up to go on a protest to get Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal because they are "tired" of seeing their beloved star "work alone" at the London club.

The protest, which was created as a Facebook event and comes off on the 1st of Match, comes in the wake of Arsenal's humiliating 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Bayern Munich.

'Chileans are tired of watching one of our stars work alone so that their team can move forward,' the description of the event, which so far has almost 7000 signees, said.

'We do not want him to play in Madrid, not to return to Barcelona, the truth is that we do not give a damn what team to play, we just want to see him fight along with ten others to get results. No more alone.'

The 28-year-old Sanchez joined Arsenal ahead of the 2014-15 season and has scored 61 goals in 126 appearances across all competitions.
