Ashanti Gold’s CAF Champions League opponent MO Bejaia has safely arrived in Ghana on Friday morning ahead of their Sunday’s crucial first leg tie against the Ghanaian side.
The Bejaia based club arrived at the Kotoka international airport at exactly 5:35 am with a 30-man contingent being led by the club’s President Naceur Maouche,
The club has however, emplaned to Kumasi and they will lodge at the Golden Tulip Hotel before later in the day train at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Sunday’s clash will be the first meeting of the two clubs as the Ghanaian side will be aiming to replicate their splendid performance in 1997 when they reached the final of the continent’s elite club championship which they lost the trophy to Raja Cassablanca from Morocco.
