'Madman' butchers pregnant wife

A mentally retarded man is reported to have butchered four persons, including his pregnant wife and 7-year-old son at Pabi in the West Akim Municipality in the Eastern region.

Two of the victims and the son died instantly. The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Asamankese Government Hospital’s morgue

Meanwhile the other victim is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.

According to Starr News’ Eastern regional correspondent, Kofi Ansah, the assailant was bathed with acid when he was caught by residents of the community Wednesday evening.
