Ahly Shandi saw plenty of the ball as they dominated play, but the Mauve and Yellows who were resolute at the back relied on counter-attack.

The closest the home side came, Muntari Tagoe who had a wonderful game came to the rescue of the Ghanaian side.

Despite pressure mounted by Ahly Shandi, Tom Strand never abandoned his strategy as they kept their shape with the hosts getting frustrated during the course of the game.

The Ghanaian side had their moments in the 70th minute, but Abass Mohammed failed to convert that chance.
