T.P Mazembe will host Medeama over the weekend at Lubumbashi on an astroturf when the two sides faceoff at the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Coach Prince Yaw Owusu and his charges have pitched camp at Sogakope, where West African Football Academy have developed an astroturf pitch to put them in good shape ahead of the clash.

Medeama SC, despite facing financial challenges, have put them behind and are set to make a journey to DR Congo to make Ghana proud.

The Tarkwa lads are the first Ghanaian outfit to reach the group stage of the CAF Confederartion Cup, since Kumasi Asante Kotoko in 2008.

The FA Cup champions defeated Techiman City 2-0 on Tuesday at the T an A park to clear their final outstanding Ghana Premier League game, before making the trip to Sogakope.
