The pair two - Kwesi Atta and Enne Evans - have been issued with medical forms to seek treatment after which they would be charged with 'acts tending to disturb public peace', TV3's Josephine Frempong has reported.

Police say Atta, 43, a labourer at the Tema Port, accused his unemployed friend Evans, 39, of stealing his cat. He confronted him on the weekend, the two argued but were prevented from fighting.

In Tema's Community 10 on Monday, Atta was said to have confronted Evans on the issue again, leading to a fight during which Atta inflicted cutlass wounds on Evans who also used a club to attack Atta, TV3 reported.

Police were called and took them to the Community 11 station where the bleeding men had varying degrees of injuries.
