Information Pulse.com.gh indicates that a polling agent at the Bimbisec polling centre in the Nanumba North District of the Northern Region was severely beaten following his refusal to allow double voting by a voter.

According to reports, Tahidu Arimiyaw prevented Adam Hanan from voting for his friend after casting his ballot. Adam persisted but his wish was not granted; he then pounced on the polling agent and beat him.

Tempers flared up but the two individuals were restrained by voters who were in the queue. There was no security agent present at the polling station at the time the incident occurred.

However, confusion broke out at the Ledzokuku-Krowor electoral office this morning after some angry youth besieged the office demanding to be posted to various polling centres.

According to some of them, they have gone through various forms of training and expecting to be posted to the various polling centres.

But they later realised their names are not on the list of polling agents.

As at the time of filing this report, the head of the Ledzorkuku-Krowor electoral office, Augustine Ntiamoah did not comment on the issue.

They are therefore demanding for explanation.

Meanwhile, monitored reports from other centres across the country also show a slow response so far.
