Afia Schwarznegger says Foods and Drugs Authority is the reason for campaign

Afia Schwarzenegger the controversial TV and radio presenter took to Facebook to explain to her fans why Ghanaian celebrities have taken up the #DumsorMustStop campaign.

According to Afia, the Ghana Foods and Drugs Board is the reason behind the campaign against the current energy crisis.

In a video she posted on her Facebook page, she said that, the GFDB has something which belongs to celebrities and if they release it, celebrities will put a quick stop to the #DumsorMustStop vigil.

The presenter then called on President Mahama to speak to the Foods and Drugs Board if he (President Mahama) wants celebrities to put a stop to the #dumsomuststop vigil.

However some few months ago, the Ghana Food and Drugs Authority enforced a ban, preventing celebrities from endorsing alcoholic beverages. So probably, that could be the reason behind this campaign.
