The ruling National Democratic Congress has formed a 15 member Northern Regional campaign team or taskforce for the upcoming December polls.

The Minister for Food and Agriculture, Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Limuna doubles as the campaign team’s leader and convener.
The NDC regional Chairman, Chief Sofo Azorka; the regional Minister, Abdallah Abubakari; the regional Secretary, Lawyer Halid Abdul-Rauf; the regional Director of elections, Tanko Rashid alias computer; the regional Organizer, Wumbei A. Godfred; the regional women’s Organizer, Madam Olivia Hawa Yahaya are members of the team.

Other members are Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu; Minister for Roads and Highways; Hon. Inusah Fuseini, the NDC regional communication Officer; Abdul-Mumin Alhassan Fuseini, the regional youth Organizer; Alhaji Mohammed Adam Amin Abio, a representative of all northern MMDCEs; David Wuni, a representative of NDC northern MPs caucus; Hon. Bukari Ninkpe, Hajia Fati Forgor as well as Hajia Mumuni Memunatu Dela.
The team is expected to achieve the NDC’s “Operation win back our seats” agenda in the Northern Region.
