The deputy Constituency Women Organizer, Patience Koranteng's intention to exit the party has come as a surprise barely few weeks of the resignation of the party's constituency treasurer, Akosua Sarpomaa who is currently campaigning for the NDC.

The Abuakwa North Constituency of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been characterised with resignation as another executive member has exited the party to campaign for the National Democratic Congresss parliamentary candidate, Ambassador Victor Smith.

The Communications director of the party in the constituency, Mr. Osei Wusu, who confirmed the story said the executives of the party in the constituency are yet to receive any letter from the party executive but indicated that the woman has not been active in the party.

Reports, however, indicate that, some constituency executives of the party are not interested in the candidature of the current MP, Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo, hence the resignation of the party executives.
