The opposition New Patriotic Party will neither acknowledge nor praise the NDC for its achievements since 1992. This is according to Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.

The Vice President was speaking at an event at the Banquet Hall of the State House where President Mahama gave highlights of the NDC’s manifesto for the 2016 election.

“In a sense, this denial that our opponents try to make is similar to the political tricks that they have engaged in and employed since 1992 when they accused the NDC government then. Political tricks that seek to deny the progress we have made. Change is a word we refuse to concede to the opposition because we consider ourselves to be the real agents of change in our change. I can appreciate the dilemma of the opposition” because they cannot stand the achievements of government.”

The Vice President said even though the NDC has achieved a lot in since it took office, they also realise there is still more work to done for Ghana to be a better place.
