The Sunyani Police in the Brong Ahafo Region is seeking a court injunction to prevent aggrieved customers of DKM microfinance company from demonstrating on Saturday, September 17.

It is on that same the governing National Democratic Congress will launch its manifesto also in Sunyani.

The Police argue that they do not have enough personnel if both events happen on the same day.

DKM Microfinance was one of the rogue microfinance companies who squandered the deposits of their customers. DKM alone reportedly owed about GHC70 million in unpaid deposits.
