Andre Ayew has been praised by Slaven Bilic for returning to the form that influenced West Ham to break bank for his signature over the summer.
The Black Stars deputy skipper joined West Ham from Swansea City for a £20.6 million pounds club record signing.
Ayew, however, had an injury setback in his debut game against Chelsea which sidelined him for weeks. He returned and joined the Black Stars for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
Although, he is not guaranteed a starting spot at West Ham, he makes impact any time he is introduced in the game or get a starting berth.
Andre Ayew scored West Ham's only goal when they lost 3-1 and Slaven Bilic has hailed the former Swansea City player for his ability position find himself well in front of goals.
“The first was that he had a massive injury in the first game of the season, then when he came back it was a little bit too early, so he was searching for fitness and form.
“Then he went to the Africa Cup of Nations and now he looks really good. That’s the reason we bought him – he has that sense to be in the right place at the right time.
“He scored like that against Swansea, he scored like that against Watford and he scored a similar kind of goal again on Saturday. That’s a big quality for the strikers to be in a good position, so now he’s back in good shape and of course we expect him to improve us.”
