The 23-year-old Ghana international has impressed scouts with his performances in the Europa League this season, notably when he scored twice in the Belgian side's 2-0 win over Zenit St Petersburg.

Anderlecht signed him for a bargain £820,000 from Thai League side Buriram United in 2013 and he has gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club.

He has scored 20 goals, and helping them to win the Belgian Pro League title plus two Belgian Super Cups. He is under contract until 2019 but they would consider selling for around £7million.

Acheampong, who is also a talented table tennis player, plays on the left wing but has also fitted in at wing-back and left-back.
