WAFA were exciting in the early stages of the game and managed to swing their passes together, but the Porcupine Warriors came into the game and exerted their control.
Ollenu Ashitey should have put Kumasi Asate Kotoko in the driving seat in the first half, after he dribbled about three players, yet he failed to send the ball home.
Frank Sarfo Gyamfi powered the hosts into the lead in the 65th minute to give the 23 times champions all the three maximum points.

Asante Kotoko have thus far won all their four home league games this season which is quiet impressive, but they have drawn two of the three matches played away.
