Asante Kotoko walloped Hearts of Oak 3-1 in the final of the 2017 MTN FA Cup late last month and with the defeat fresh on the minds of the Phobians they have the opportunity to let their fans forget it and turn the tide in their favour when the meet in the second leg of the Ghana@60 anniversary game.

The Accra giants won the first leg handsomely when they defeated the Fabulous boys 3-1 at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in March, so they need to avoid a defeat to emerge champions.

However, after the 3-1 defeat against Kotoko in the FA Cup, they would want to manage a win in Kumasi to put back smiles on the faces of their supporters for letting them down in the FA Cup.

Asante Kotoko on the other would want to continue their high flying display against the Hearts lately.

Both teams were given GHC 50,000 each in appearance fees and will receive the same amounts for the return leg.

The overall winner will get a trophy which will be presented by the President.

The match will be attended by the President Nana Akuffo-Addo and other dignitaries.
