Ghanaian actor Van Vicker has protested against the use of his image by a pro National Democratic Congress (NDC) group, Transforming Ghana, to appear as though he has endorsed President John Mahama.

The picture capturing them doing the three sign with their fingers, the actor explained, was in solidarity with the June 3 disaster victims, accusing the party of fraudulently using his image.

In an Instagram post, the Van Vicker said: “The use of my image in connection with the support of NDC is unauthorized.”

"Please do not view this photo as my endorsement of the NDC party.

“I am obviously taking legal advice about this matter as I view this as a serious breach of my human rights."
