Jean-Pierre Gehrden had an accident after he fell in a well of water and as a result, the boy fell into a three month long coma.

Since then, his mother, Jenny, takes care of her little ean who suffered serious injuries after the unfortunate accident happened.

The story touched the heart of Boateng whohas decided to lend a hand to the boy and his family by buying a house with a garden for them.

"We'll take over everything, the boy should get a house with a garden so that he feels on vacation!", Boateng said.

Boateng recently showed air of kindness after he paid for a private plane for all his Las Palmas team-mates to travel back from after a football programme in Valencia.

Las Palmas had been invited to Valencia for the La Liga awards, so when Boateng dipped in to his pockets to fly straight back home he saved his pals an eight hour journey.

The 29 year old has proved to be a real hit with the Las Palmas players, he has become the main organiser of activities outside of the club, regularly inviting the group to dinner and even done so a couple days after he had signed for the club.

Boateng has always been a popular figure in the dressing room wherever he has gone, he did not really make a huge impact in the Premier League with Tottenham but certainly proved his critics wrong at AC Milan.

He scored a screamer against Arsenal in the last 16 of the Champions League 1st leg at the San Siro in 2012, which the Italians won 4-0, but only managed to scrape through after an Arsenal fight back in the 2nd leg winning 3-0.
