The posters of the late President John Atta Mills have been seen in places like Pedu junction, Abura, Moree barrier, Aggrey Memorial SHS, Cape Coast Takoradi highway and around new Cape Coast Stadium which happens to be the venue for the party’s campaign launch.

It is unclear the reason behind the emergence of the posters, but reports say some natives of the Central region, who are upset about the way the late President died are probably behind the pasting of the posters.

This incident brings up again the call by some sections of the public for the NDC and the government to clarify circumstances under which the late president passed away.

Earlier, there were claims that the party was capitalising on the death of the late President for political gains.

But the Director of Communications for the NDC’s 2016 Campaign, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, denied those claims, saying the party was launching its 2016 campaign in the Central Region because it is in the interest of the party.
