Koku Anyidoho, Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has opened up about some of the happenings in government saying President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has surrounded himself with inexperienced appointees.

According to him, the president has surrounded himself with family, friends and cronies who are inexperienced and committing blunders and mistakes that could have been prevented.

Speaking on the protocol gaffe at the presidency when the flag of Ghana was turned upside-down, he said inexperienced hands at the presidency must be blamed.

In an interview on Accra-based Rainbow radio, Koku Anyidoho said the level of inexperience at the presidency is disgusting.

"It is important that seasoned people are employed to handle the president...People are observing...Governance is not a tea party and the blunders are becoming too many."

He however, questioned the competence of the Executive Secretary to the president, Nana Asante Bediatuo.

''What does he [Asante Bediatuo] know about handling a president as an Executive Secretary?," he asked.
