Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, the national chairman of the NDC Kofi Portuphy said the New Patriotic Party government and Ghanaians at large should not blame the NDC if they decide to respond to the attacks in equal measure.
"We are calling on civil society, religious bodies, the media, and the international community not to blame the NDC if the unacceptable conduct of Akufo-Addo’s Invincible Forces leads to reprisal attacks,” he said.
But Chairman of the Peace Council Most Reverend Professor Emmanuel Asante has slammed the threats, saying said such comments could plunge the country into mayhem.
