PPP's focus is job creation: Nduom

Speaking on a wide range of issues, Dr Nduom said Ghanaians have “wasted their votes” on leadership that have failed to utilize the nation’s resources for “all of our hopes and aspirations.”

The presidential nominee of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, has promised to focus on job creation if he is elected as president in the 2016 elections.

“Our focus is simple,” Dr Nduom said on GTV’s Presidential Encounter Friday. “It is simply job creation based on competent incorruptible leadership.

He added: “No party has been so bold to state it as we have.”

Dr Nduom said a PPP government will be guided by three pillars: education, jobs and healthcare.

“As we have stated in our policy document, the PPP seeks the opportunity to implement an efficient agenda for accelerated development through incorruptible leadership, education, health care and jobs. These are the three pillars that we stand on,” he said.

He stressed that votes have been wasted on leaderships that have disappointed the people and have “not led us to where we deserve to be because Ghana deserves better that where we are today.”

“Thankfully, the people have the opportunity this year to vote for inclusiveness, to vote for peace, to vote for unity, to vote for incorruptible leadership and to vote for competence that is based on practical experience by voting the PPP and Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom into office. That will bring many many blessings to our society,” he said.
