John Dumelo named most influential Ghanaian on social media

Nigeria based sports communication company, CampsBay Media has named Ghanaian actor John Dumelo as part of the top 10 most powerful celebrities on social media.

He became the first Ghanaian citizen to hit a million likes on Facebook.

American singer of Senegalese descent, Akon and Cameroonian footballer, Samuel Eto’o were the two most followed Africans on the social media channels.

Other celebrities who made the list were Ivorian forward Didier Drogba and Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah in that order.
