Godfred Donsah in talks with AS Roma, agent claims
Godfred Donsah’s agent has confirmed that his player is in talks with AS Roma about a move to the Stadio Olimpico this January.
The Bologna star has enjoyed an excellent season for his side as he has scored five goals from defensive midfield in all competitions.
Roma boss Luciano Spalletti is reportedly a massive fan of the Ghanaian midfielder who is worth between €8m and €10m
And Donsah's agent, Oliver Arthur, says he has been in discussions with Roma and “will meet Roma tomorrow and perhaps also Bologna” to discuss a January transfer.
“We have been in contact with Roma, but nothing official,” agent Oliver Arthur told PagineRomaniste.
“I do not know of any formal offer from the Giallorossi. Right now I am in Germany, but tomorrow I’ll be in Italy to meet with Roma, who already spoke to my Italian associate.
“Tomorrow I will meet Roma and perhaps also Bologna. I haven’t spoken to Godfred over the last couple of days, but I think he’d be happy with the Roma option.”
The 20-year-old is also known to be of interest to Torino.
He joined Cagliari from Verona in 2014 and then on to Bologna on loan with option to buy a year later.
The Sardinians retain 25 per cent of a future sell-on fee.
