The incident led to a massive traffic pile up as commuters were halted to enable emergency services reach victims of the accident.
Speaking in an interview with pulse.com.gh, the PRO of the Police hospital, Corporal Faustina Nunekpeku said no police personnel was on board the vehicle.
She added that "15 people were brought here. They have been treated and discharged. We are trying to admit two to stabilise them. Their condition is okay, but they need to be monitored. One has also been sent to Korlebu".
She said 20 people, including staff from the presidency, immigration personnel and artisans were on board the vehicle.
It is still not clear how the bus overturned on one of the busiest stretches of road in the capital.
