Eric Bekoe hails team spirit in Hasaacas

The former Kotoko striker has hailed the team spirit of his new found club

Eric Bekoe has stated that he is impressed with the unity at Sekondi Hasaacas ahead of the new premier league season.

The 29-year-old sealed a move to the 'Giants of the West', after several seasons of battling with fitness. He joined camp this week and following series of training sessions with the team, he has expressed his delight at the sort of team spirit that Sekondi Hasaacas are currently enjoying and he believes it would take them far in the 2015-16 Ghana Premier League.

“Since I joined camp at Sekondi Hasaacas, the atmosphere has been excellent. There is much unity amongst the playing body. It is difficult to differentiate between the experienced players in the team and the up and coming ones.

“I am very impressed with the team spirit and the support we are enjoying from the fans is also good. I hope that Sekondi Hasaacas will do well in the new season which will kick off on 20th February, he told Asempa FM.

Eric Bekoe emerged as the top-scorer of the Ghana Premier League in the 2007-08 season, after netting 17 league goals in his debut season for Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
