Latif Blessing scored a brace to help Sporting Kansas City to a 2-2 draw against Orlando City SC in the MLS on Saturday night.

The 20-year-old Ghanaian, who was making his first start after three previous appearances as a substitute, struck in the 9th and 74th minutes, his second goal coming as a vital equalizer as his side were losing 2-1 away at the Orlando City Stadium in Florida.

Blessing joined SKC in January on the back of a splendid season for Liberty Professionals in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League season, scoring 17 goals in 21 games to emerge as the Most Valuable Player as well as top scorer.

He made his Sporting KC debut on March 12 in the MLS against Dallas, before featuring for Swope Park Rangers, Sporting KC's B-team, where he has scored a goal on his debut on March 26, a 3-1 win over OKC Energy.
