President John Mahama has arrived at the Jubilee park in Wa in the Upper West Region to join workers mark this years May Day celebration.

All working people of Ghana will today join millions across the world to mark the day, as similar events are taking place in the 10 regions across the country.
The event will see workers voice out their grievances to the president in order to find effective ways to deal with them.

Police in the Upper West region have heightened security to ensure an incident-free celebration.
