Pregnant woman 'bites penis of rapist'

Police in South Africa are on the lookout for a man who raped a pregnant woman in front of her five-year-old son

A man who raped a pregnant woman in full glare of her 5-year-old son is being sought after by police.

The occupants of a white Toyota Tazz offered the pregnant woman and her son a lift but led them to a nearly bush on the Spioenkop Road outside White River.

They held her at gunpoint while they were driving and ordered her not to scream.

"One of the men forcefully raped her at knifepoint in front of her child. Further information revealed that, during the process, the woman managed to bite the private part of the man,” spokesperson of Mpumalanga province Police, Brigadier Leonard Hlathi said.

Hlathi appealed to health facilities and the genral public to report any man with a severely injured private part by contacting Constable Solly Mabuza on 082 730 7590 or phone Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
