Do you see the reduction of fuel price money as political?

The Federal Government has announced a reduction in the pump price of petrol in the country. But is this gesture done for political reasons or to reduce the sufferings of Nigerians?

On Sunday, 18 January, 2015, the Federal Government announced the reduction of fuel price money from N97 to N87, taking off N10 from the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit.

According to the FG, this reduction is in line with the falling price of petroleum products the world over. But typically, many Nigerians do not see the sincerity in the reduction, with some seeing it as a political gimmick with the general elections some few weeks away.

But other believe it is a good step while to many others, it should even go down going by the pricing and the landing rates of the product.
