2014-15 Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season, Eric Opoku will not be part of the Miners scheme of things next season, after sealing a move to Kuwaiti club Al Nasr, according to reports.

He is reported to have completed a two-year deal with Al Nasr, despite attempts from AshGold to renew his contract.

Eric Opoku, who is box to box midfielder joined Ashanti Gold from Berekum Chelsea, five seasons ago and has been key part of the club since that time, propelling them to win their first league title in 19 years last season
