England scrum-half Ben Youngs is relishing what he believes will be an "almighty clash" with Wales after seeing off defending champions Ireland on Saturday.

Head coach Eddie Jones has three wins from three matches in charge, England having defeated Ireland 21-10 at Twickenham to keep their Grand Slam hopes intact.

They host Wales on March 12 in a rematch of the pulsating Rugby World Cup pool-stage encounter that Warren Gatland's side won 28-25 before England crashed out of the tournament with a 33-13 loss to Australia.

And Youngs expects Wales, who drew their tournament opener against Ireland before beating Scotland and France, to present a typically formidable challenge this time around.

"Wales are consistently a good team in this tournament. Traditionally they get better as the tournament goes on," he said.

"Their coaching staff have been together for a number of years now and likewise their players.

"We've got a bit of catching up to do over the next two weeks, but we're at home and we're looking forward to an almighty game.

"I'll worry about the Grand Slam when the whistle has gone after the final game, but we're in a good place, there's no denying that. We're three from three and right where we want to be.

"It was great to get our campaign underway at Twickenham. We know what's coming next time we're here."
