Celebrating the world’s first ever plus size (22) model

Tess Holliday, has been honored as the first ever plus size (22) model for people’s magazine’s 2015 body issue cover.

She added, people told her she does not fit the restricted beauty standards of the fashion industry.

“I turned rejections towards my body into an incredible and inspiring career, beauty shouldn’t be defined by a size”, she revealed.

She disclosed, after going for many “disgracing interviews”, she started posting photos of herself in her underwear, bathing suits and other clothes which has landed  her a professional modelling contract.
