Akufo-Addo celebrates First Lady Rebecca on her 68th birthday

Nana Addo took to Twitter to say a happy birthday to the First Lady of the land.

The President has on several occasions expressed open affection to and depicted the bond with the First Lady.

Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia also wished the Madam Rebecca good health and long life as she marked her special day.

Second Lady, Samira Bawumia in a birthday message, described Mrs Akufo-Addo as an amazing woman and an inspiration to women.

Rebecca Akufo-Addo became First Lady after the President won the December 7 election in 2016 and subsequently sworn in President on January 7, 2017.

She is using her Office to champion the cause of women and children and is an Ambassador for the fight against cancer.

Rebecca Akufo-Addo was born on 12 March 1951.
