Health tech startup receives funding from Sasware

Medismarts, a startup based in Lagos, has received seed funding from Sasware, according to media reports.

According to TechCabal, the exact amount of funding which was exchanged for a minority stake in the company, was undisclosed.

The report further reveals that Medismarts’ founders, Obinna Osuji and Damilola Oni, plan to invest the funds directly into its medical cloud platform.

Investor, Sasware, is a technology and startup investment subsidiary of Signal Alliance, a Nigerian IT services provider.

Medismarts is a health tech startup that provides cloud-based data management platforms to healthcare institutions through a freemium product.
