Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 33 shots at Verizon Center as the Penguins finished strongly.

All four goals were scored in the third period, with Evgeny Kuznetsov putting the Capitals ahead.

But Beau Bennett, Phil Kessel and an empty-netter from Nick Bonino saw Pittsburgh to their win.

The Capitals sit third in the Metropolitan Division, two spots ahead of the Penguins.

Kyle Turris had a goal and an assist for the Senators and he also netted in the shoot-out.

The Flames have lost three straight games to be second-bottom in the Pacific Division.

A third-period goal from Calle Jarnkrok helped the Nashville Predators past the San Jose Sharks 2-1.
