Alex Ekubo, Ali Nuhu to star in Funke Akindele's TV series

Earlier this year, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele undefined; 'Jenifa' as drama series.

The actress also revealed that new faces would be introduced to the series.

"A good number of actors in the original Jenifa are involved; alongside new faces and that will be the highlight of the show." - She said.

Kannywood award winning actor, Ali Nuhu took to his official Instagram page to share the above photo of himself on set with Alex Ekubo.

"On the set of Funke Akindele's Jennifer's Diary with Alex Ekubo" he posted.

'Jenifa' movie tells the story of 'Suliat' a young  ‘village girl’ with aspirations to make it big in the city.

Guess the new cast adds to the excitement.
