Meet the official host 2016 Emmy Awards

will officially host the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards on Saturday 18, 2016.

The 48-year-old who  previously hosted the awards in 2012, took to his Twitter account to share the news.

Past hosts include Jimmy Fallon, Meyers, Andy Samberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Tom Bergeron, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Jeff Probst and Ryan Seacrest among others.

The Academy also announced that the Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place on Saturday and Sunday September 10 and 11.

In 2015, Viola Davis became the first black actress to undefinedfor her role in "How to Get Away with Murder."

This year's Emmy Awards red will hold at The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and the telecast will air on ABC.
