Soldiers kill three suicide bombers, defuse explosives

Troops in Borno State averted a major tragedy on Saturday, March 14, after they intercepted three suicide bombers in the state.

The would-be attackers were heading to a military check point along Damaturu-Maiduguri Road when they were killed by security agents, according to Sahara Reporters.

Soldiers however couldn’t stop a fourth bomber who reportedly blew herself up in the Ngamdu area of the state before she could be arrested.

She was however, the only casualty in the attack.
