A fire outbreak at Old Fadama popularly known as Sodom and Gomorrah has stalled an ongoing demolition exercise being carried out by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA).

The fire, which spread quickly through the debris of last Saturday’s demolition exercise caused the city authorities to withdraw four excavators which were being used for the exercise.
