13 feared dead as Boko Haram attacks Yobe, Borno polling units

About 13 people have reportedly died after Boko Haram terrorists launched attacks on polling units in Borno and Yobe States.

According to emerging reports, voting was suspended at Ngalda, in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State after six suspected terrorists opened fire on voters at a polling unit reportedly leaving three people dead.
10 other people are said to have been killed in a separate attack at Buratai Town in the Biu Local Government Area of Borno State.
The insurgents had earlier launched an attack on polling units in Gombe State leaving two people dead.
Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau had in a recent video vowed to disrupt the polls saying that they wouldn’t hold even if he was dead.
