In the Ashanti region, a former presidential candidate and the incumbent MP <strong>Francis Addai-Nimo</strong> lost his Mampong seat. He polled 207 votes as against <strong>Kweku Ampratwum Sarpong </strong>who won with 232 votes.

Benjamin Arthur had 66 votes while Peter Abum Sarkodie has 33 votes.

The former NPP National Youth Organizer, Anthony Karbo polled a massive 355 votes against his only contender Joseph Dontaa who managed just 63 votes in the Lawra constituency in the Upper West region.
