In a statement signed by the party’s General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong, the NPP said it “wishes to announce to the entirety of Ghanaians that it endorses the 'Yabr3’ demonstration, which is being organised by pressure group Movement for Change.

“The economic gains made in our country have been eroded over the past 6 years of the NDC rule.

“Our people continue to suffer unprecedented economic hardship coupled with an unending power crisis.

“We urge members of the NPP, civil society and artisanal groups, to show their displeasure towards the ineptitude of the John Mahama-led government by joining the scheduled street protest tomorrow,” the statement said.
