According to the Executive Director of GACC, Mrs. Beauty Emefa Narteh, the organisation seeks to practicalise advocacy by directly impacting the lives of the less privileged in the society. The Dzorwulu Special School was chosen because of its proximity as well as the special needs that required support.

This initiative which is expected to be an annual affair will be the organization’s widow’s mite. Further, she noted that “the challenges faced by the poor and the less privileged in society can easily be addressed if we are able to effectively fight the canker of corruption affecting the society”. These “stolen” resources can therefore be channeled to develop the nation rather than enrich individuals.
Nana Osei-Bonsu, the Chair of GACC, commended the teachers for their commitment to pupils at the school. He encouraged the children not to give up on themselves because God always has a plan for everyone regardless of any form of disability they live with.

Disability, he emphasized, is not inability. He called on the government to channel resources to improve the lives of the less advantaged in society.
Mr. Fred Tetteh, the Assistant Headmaster of the school was very grateful to the GACC for choosing their school. According to him, the school will put the items to good use. He looked forward to more of such gestures in future.
