JOE SULLIVAN, the former chief security officer of Facebook has finally moved to Uber-the car-hailing-app company. This comes as co-founder and CEO Travis Kalanick grapples with security concerns escalating so rapidly they threaten to slow Uber’s momentum.

Joe Sullivan will be Uber’s first Chief Security Officer. Travis in a press statement, said: “We see opportunities ahead not just in technology, through biometrics and driver monitoring, but in the potential for inspiring collaborations with city and state governments around the world.”

Uber has been bedevilled with a lot of negative press across the world. Ranging from rape incidents, identity theft, user account hacks, burglary etc. all carried out by its drivers.
