It appears that Archbishop Duncan Williams played a critical role in activities leading up to Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony

Mr Pence tweeted: "We begin this historic and humbling day as we do every day, with a moment of reflection and prayer."

The preacher quoted the tweet and said:

Duncan Williams is the presiding archbishop and general overseer of Action Chapel International, one of Accra’s largest charismatic churches.

Donald Trump and Mike Pence along with their spouses attended the St John’s Church in the hours of January 20, 2017.

The pair will be sworn in on the steps of the Capitol by the Chief Justice of the United States of America.

Other dignitaries attending the inauguration ceremony include Bill and Hilary Clinton, George and Laura Bush and Jimmy Carter.
