Burns survivor, Turia Pitt, is getting married!

Turia Pitt and Michael Hoskin have proven once again that true love can withstand anything.

Unfortunately, Turia was badly burned during an ultra-marathon in the Kimberley four years ago, suffering burns to 64 per cent of her body.

Surprisingly, Micheal remained by her side and together, they continue to battle the challenges Turia faces.

Now, the incredible pair are engaged.

According to Women’s Weekly, Michael popped the question while they were on holiday in the Maldives.

Micheal confessed to the publication saying, “when Turia was in intensive care four years ago I bought a diamond ring.”

On her engagement, Turia said, “i’m so overwhelmed with love at the moment.”

The couple and their unwavering love continue to inspire many in Australia and all around the world.
