The Club 100 Awards is a prestigious event in Ghana where the diligence, growth, and contribution of corporate Ghana to the Ghanaian economy is acknowledged.

The 17th edition of the Club 100 awards was held under the theme “Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship– Opportunities for growth and development” at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

Welcoming guests, the Chief Executive of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre(GIPC), Yofi Grant said that technology and innovation is the new frontier of businesses across the globe.
“The benefits are many and multifaceted. The biggest companies in the world now are technology companies or companies who have technology and innovation at the heart of their operations.”
In a speech read on behalf of President Akufo-Addo, a Deputy Finance Minister, Kweku Kwarteng, gave an assurance that the government will continue to create a good environment for businesses to grow.
“While we have a lot of work to do to fix our country and economy, we want to assure that the economic policies of the Government are anchored on a systemic path to a greater good for all of us. We will build on these to start the process of more fundamental reforms to pushing Ghana to a modern economy under the vision of Ghana Beyond Aid,” he said.

According to him the reduced inflation rate, monetary rate, and fiscal deficit are evidence enough that the government is working to improve the economy.
